Pretty solid option for chicken pho. Depending on the size of your party, you order a plate of chicken (whole, half, etc.) that came with a nice/salty dipping sauce. The pho itself was pretty standard, good portion for the chicken. Service is super quick and there is plenty of seating. Cash only. Good option if you're in the mood for chicken.
I'm not really a fan of chicken pho but the chicken pho here is truly excellent! Best chicken pho I've ever had!
Pho and chicken were delicious. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something good and simple.
Very very good chicken - bonus that it comes with a nice side of noodle soup! They only serve one thing here so you know it's good! It gets busy on weekends but they turn tables fast and you can always do take out. Our go to order here for 2 is a whole chicken plus 2 regular plain pho with extra habanero dipping sauce. You get the chicken, blood and gizzards and all! For take out they will happily keep the noodles raw so they aren't soggy by the time you get home, even though it's more work. Eat in is a better experience. For individual portions I was shocked at the generous portion of chicken in the chicken pho order, so you can just do that and keep it simple. The chicken is so perfectly silky when fresh, it's delicious dipped in the habanero sauce. Not as good leftover since the fridge changes the meat texture, so don't order more than you'll eat in one sitting. The broth and noodles are comforting and a great complement, but I come here for the chicken.
DELICIOUS PHO ! friendly service...this place seems super authentic. BEST HANGOVER CURE! Highly recommend ! Plus Fanta Pineapple
I hadn't been to this establishment since they first opened. Last time we came, we left thinking the broth was amazing but the chicken was tough. I'm glad we gave them another try. The broth was still equally amazing, noodles cooked perfectly, chicken was moist and not tough or dry this time. The lime salt they serve to dip the chicken in has a nice tang of spice to it too. For a large plain pho + quarter chicken + large chicken pho = $34. It's not cheap for a bowl of noodle soup, but it's pretty delicious. Service is quick, food comes out within 2 minutes of ordering. They no longer give you a menu to look at with prices, since they only have one thing on the menu - chicken pho. I still think it would be nice to have a menu for guests to compare prices of plain vs chicken pho, and the side chicken add-on.
First time having chicken pho - simple yet flavorful, clean broth without too many aromatics, and the side plate of succulent chicken was the perfect complement. The broth was already flavorful enough so you really don't need the hoisin or Sriracha. And I loved the sauce that you dip the chicken in - not as tangy as I thought it would be but still flavorful and those peppers will get to you!
This establishment proves if you do one thing really well, people will keep coming back. I first found out about it when I was waiting for a table at another restaurant located in the same plaza. I noticed a lot of people waiting outside in the hot summer heat. That was summer 2022 and I immediately added it to my Yelp collection. When I visited Philly this summer, I knew I had to pay a visit. I already expected a line but praying it moves quick. It did! The gentleman working there took down our name and phone number. They would call us when our table was ready. The given eta was 15 minutes and they didn't lie. There were only two people in my party so we got seated quickly. I noticed larger families waited around longer. We each got a small Pho Ga but debated if we should get a half chicken and two plain noodles. The benefit in doing the latter would probably yield a few more pieces of chicken. We settled on a small Pho Ga each because we had more restaurants to visit The chicken was smooth and flavorful. It really didn't need anything added to it. But I did dip them a few times into the small plate of spicy salty vinegary sauce that it came with. I was sweating while devouring it but I still finished everything and returned a completely empty bowl.
Came here for the chicken pho and was blown away at the depth of the broth, yet how simultaneously light it was! It tasted, as a Philly native described, "clean," yet was rich and comforting. The noodles and broth were so good on their own. I always eat pho with a little hoisin and Sriracha sauce, but this broth was so unexpectedly flavorful that I decided not to add those sauces so I could enjoy its original flavor. Adding lime also pleasantly enhanced but did not detract from the original flavor of the soup. I could honestly just drink the broth alone. My 1 star off is for the chicken and dipping sauce, and the basil leaves. The saltiness of the sauce overpowered the lime and pepper flavor, and made it difficult to enjoy the chicken. Maybe this was an intentional choice to complement the bland chicken, but I personally prefer large chunks of meat to be well-seasoned to begin with, as opposed to being dry and then depending on a dipping sauce to add flavor after cooking. Basil leaves to me are an essential part of my pho experience, so I was disappointed by the dry and tough leaves. It was honestly difficult to tell it was even basil, because they had dried up to the point where there was hardly any flavor left. The fresh mint of Pho 75, on the other hand, was a delightful contrast to the meat and noodles, and made me love my experience there. This restaurant accepts payment for the meal on card, but tips are cash only.
